Healthy food for kids – Ali Arai

Having a young child (she is under three) I’m in no way experienced with the food market. So I started researching food items for her and starting just so she could be fed by herself. My mom is Italian and her milk is in my pantry almost every day, so we are getting to know each other well around food.

As soon as I started looking, I found a lot of companies were making products with veggie supplements. But they were just selling other things too—potato chips, vegan cheeses, and other high-calorie fillers. So I tried something new—baby foods. We always have snacks from babies’ first years, so I didn’t want to waste food.
