London Luton Airport: The popular green list country with return flights from just £8

Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to get away.

At this time of the year there are plenty of bargain getaways to be had, with a number of cheap flights on offer from Luton Airport.

You can currently get return flights to Poprad, in Slovakia, for just £8.

This makes it cheaper to get to Slovakia from Luton than it is to get to Bedford.

Slovakia is a beautiful country full of medieval castles and natural wonders, including a number of stunning national parks.

Poprad is a great base for hiking holidays around beautiful lakes and through gorges. It is also one of the cheapest countries to visit in Europe – the average price of a pint is £0.79.

Entry is now permitted for fully vaccinated travellers from the UK regardless of any close connection to Slovakia.

UK nationals who are not fully vaccinated may only enter if one of the following is applicable to you.

If you are a resident in Slovakia, a close relative of a resident or of a Slovak citizen, commercial transport personnel, a student studying in Slovakia or you fall under certain limited exemptions.
