Earthquakes suck! Even though they last about 10 to 30 seconds on average they feel like eternities, the worst part is that there’s no way to feel safe during one, the ground below is shanking you and everything on top of it. It feels like it’s just a matter of time until the entire building collapse on you, and no way to stop it and no way to run from it, you just have to wait and hope you’ll survive, and even after it’s gone you feel like it can come back at any second.

I live in a place where earthquakes are quite common, luckily, some of them happen without notice, you could think one can get used to them, but the reality is far from that, in fact, is quite the opposite. Sometimes is hard to fall asleep because I’m scared, I’m never gonna get used to it because every time you experience one, there’s only one thought going through your mind “Am I going to die?”
